Stella Tang Ying Ying

Stella is a versatile legal professional serving as a partner overseeing the firm’s corporate practice while actively engaging in litigation matters. She possesses both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Law from Cardiff University. She was Called to the Bar of England and Wales (Middle Temple) in 2017 and then admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2018.

Following her graduation, Stella completed her pupillage at a medium-sized law firm, where she was exposed to listing procedures and due diligence exercises that equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of corporate transactions, capital markets, and regulatory compliance. In addition to her involvement in corporate matters, she also assisted in drafting cause papers for various stages of court proceedings. After her pupillage, she had the opportunity to work in the corporate sector before commencing practice, thereby gaining invaluable insights in business operations and project management.

Stella possesses extensive expertise in drafting and negotiating various commercial and corporate agreements, facilitating commercial transactions and compliance from initial due diligence to transaction closing. She is committed to assist her clients to achieve their business objectives while minimizing legal risks.  In addition to her corporate practice, she also represents clients in various civil and commercial disputes in all tiers of the Malaysian court system.
